Some places shape the rhythm of menswear not by noise, but by continuity. Pitti Uomo, held season after season at Florence’s Fortezza da Basso, is one of them. More than a trade fair, it is a point of reference — a space where menswear is observed, discussed, and quietly redefined.
This year, from 17 to 20 June 2025, Giannetto Portofino took part in Pitti Uomo, presenting the Spring Summer Collection 26 collection. Four days marked not by spectacle, but by exchange. Moments where garments were not only seen, but understood.
Why Presence at Pitti Uomo Matters
In a time when collections circulate instantly through digital channels, physical presence has gained new meaning. Pitti Uomo remains relevant precisely because it resists immediacy. It allows time — for conversation, for reflection, for nuance.
Pitti Uomo is not only about showing work, but about receiving insight. Conversations unfold without agenda — about materials, evolving habits, and the way men dress today.
For us, these exchanges are formative. They inform how collections evolve, but also how we understand the man who wears them: attentive to quality, uninterested in excess, confident in his own measure of style.

At the centre of this dialogue is our Creative Director Vincenzo Sansonne, through his leadership each discussion becomes an opportunity to test ideas, to observe reactions, and to ensure that every decision remains purposeful.
SS26: A Collection Shown Through Experience
The SS26 collection was designed with continuity in mind. It does not aim to redefine, but to refine — building on familiar codes through thoughtful adjustment.

Lightweight fabrics, considered volumes, and discreet details formed the core of the collection. Pieces intended to move naturally between settings, rather than belong to one. At Pitti Uomo, this approach found resonance.
Seeing the collection worn, styled, and interpreted in real time offered something invaluable: confirmation that subtlety still holds strength. That Italian style, when executed with restraint, remains timeless.
Looking Forward to January 2026
Giannetto Portofino will return to Pitti Uomo from 13 to 16 January 2026, where we will present the FW26/27 collection. A season shaped by depth, structure, and material richness — interpreted with the same restraint that defines our work.
